Shea Butter Mixture!

OK so it didn’t come out completely how I wanted but that’s probably because I didn’t have a lot of shea butter. It’s still smooth though and easy to work with so I will see how it does on my hair!

I’m definitely going to get some more shea butter between today and tomorrow to make some more though.

Random Me: Natural Hair —> Shea Butter Mixture

Ok so I FINALLY bought some EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) today! Haven’t gotten my Aloe Vera Gel yet tho =(

But anyways! Last week I melted my shea butter and that did not really give me what I wanted. It was sticky and I didn’t like the way it made my hair feel. Well since then I haven’t used any shea butter in my hair in that was a MISTAKE!! I need my shea butter!!

So tonight I will be making a whipped shea butter mixture using: Unrefined Shea Butter, EVOO, Grapeseed Oil and a few drops of lavender oil.

I watched a few YouTube Video’s and decided on these oils because these are what I want to use in my hair. Hopefully it turns out good because I’m sick of this hard ass shea butter! I love it but the whipped consistency will make my life so much easier!

I’ll have pictures of it when I’m done =)

I FINALLY melted some shea butter and applied it to my hair. umm… i think i will melt it MORE the next time. but it wet well for the first time!

jouelzy:

Shea butter too heavy for your hair?

Try blending it with your favorite essential oil to make it more effective for your hair type. Just melt shea butter down, drop in a tablespoon of favorite oil (castor, jojoba, tea tree…etc.,) and blend with a hand cake mixer or whisk. Then quickly freeze for 10 minutes. Blend again until you get the softer whipped consistency of your desire. POW!

Works great for hair and skin :)
