Hey everyone take this quick hair survey for my friend’s college project!! It’s for natural and relaxed African America women!
LENGTH CHECK: October 12, 2012
Ok so I’m getting braids tomorrow! So I decided to blow out my hair and do a length check at 11:30pm yesterday! lls I just finished at 12:30am! (Faster than usual because I didn’t have to wash or detangle)
Side Note: I’ve been clipping my ends every 2-3 weeks because I’m trying to get the dye off slowly and I had heat damage in the back from my May blow out.
ANYWHO! It’s growing!!
Front: 6 1/2 inches
Right Side: 6 1/2 inches
Left Side: 6 inches
Back: 5 1/2 inches (damaged part)
Crown: 6 1/2 inches
So if I hadn’t been clipping I’d probably have about 8 inches =( BUT it’s healthy so I’m happy!
Random Me: Life Updates
Well I haven’t written in a LONG time!!
Ok so back in Jan I wrote about my grandmother passing.(Not gonna talk about that again)
So, May comes!! On the 14th I finally went on a successful interview, 15th was my bday AND my baby cousin/goddaughter was born! On the 17th I found out I got the job!! THEN, on the 19th my great grandmother passed away.
Talk about an eventful start to the motherfucking year! My family has been butting heads ad shit since December of last year when everything began and I’m at my I DON’T GIVE A FUCK point now. Grown ass men ans women, sisters and brother, cousins etc can’t even get along long enough to bury loved ones and get assets in order. So I’ve decided to step away from them all together.
As of last week I finally narrowed down a roommate! YAY! So, I’ll be moving in October. First time fully living on my own although I have been talking care of myself since I graduated high school and a little before that
Hmm… My hair is growing like crazy!!
I officially weigh 166! 20+ lighter than last year. And I’m hoping to be 20 more lbs less by the end of this year *fingers crossed*.
I’m still single and having horrible luck with men!
And I think that about sums it all up…
